The Brief

10x10 Philanthropy are an Australian based not-for-profit that exist to create an Australia where those solving our toughest social challenges have the greatest chance of success. Through community events, corporate partnerships and venture philanthropy, 10x10 are building a movement that backs innovative NFPs to multiply their impact.

With a renewed brand identity, 10x10 needed a comms strategy across their owned channels that shifted communications from being solely event focused to that of their primary stakeholder; the network of not-for-profits they support. The end goal was to increase brand awareness and engagement bringing greater attention - and supporters - to the 10x10 movement.

The Strategy

Comms needed to shift the perception of 10x10 as an event-led charitable organisation to one of a movement of people who support social innovation, with the aim to elevate online reach, engagement and interest in the movement. By providing a communications framework, I was able to create clear structure and direction for each channel, audience and the message that would cut through with each of them.

The Results

The 10x10 movement and community has gone from strength to strength. A consistent comms and content strategy has meant a 35% increase in organic audience growth and a 113% uplift in organic reach of content. The community continues to interact and engage positively with content.

Caroline Geoghegan, 10x10's Head of Community, Corporate Partnerships & Communications comments:

"Brogan provided us with a communications strategy that aligned to our strategic aims with three content segments and ideas on how to bring these to life. She has translated this strategy into a working communications plan that holds us to account each month and ensures we have a regular cadence of content. As a result, we have seen a huge response to our communications with people in our community."
